Today's weather is fine but waves are high. (Japanese: 本日天気晴朗なれども波高し)
The Russian fleet lost the battleships Knyaz' Suvorov, Oslyabya, Emperor Alexander III and Borodino on May 27.1905. Japanese ships only suffered light damage, mostly to Mikasa. In the evening, Rear Admiral Nebogatov took the command on the Russian side.
